چکیده
Debris flows are a severe hazard in mountainous regions. However, cost-effective long-term studies of debris seldom, which leads to substantial uncertainties mitigation methods. This paper investigates whether remote sensing techniques can be applied assess the hazards mountain torrents and gather accurate information on development watershed. Torrents that prone often devoid vegetation thus well surveyed using photogrammetric methods based uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) surveys. The possibility extracting automatically torrent parameters from high-resolution terrain models, such as cross-sectional area or slope, is explored. presented methodology yields continuous derived along torrent, major advantage over pointwise field Cross-validation with measurements reveals strong agreement. These very highly incised sections, while they severely limited sections steep adjacent hillslopes and/or dense vegetation. We show these kinds assessments greatly gain UAV data followed by automatic parameter extraction. extracted provide insights so key weak points identified accurately assessed field. find contribute comprehensive, reproducible objective assessment processes predispositions. ground-based fieldwork still essential further research sensing-based crucial.

15 صفحه اولReview of Automatic Feature Extraction from High-Resolution Optical Sensor Data for UAV-Based Cadastral Mapping
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have emerged as a rapid, low-cost and flexible acquisition system that appears feasible for application in cadastral mapping: high-resolution imagery, acquired using UAVs, enables a new approach for defining property boundaries. However, UAV-derived data are arguably not exploited to its full potential: based on UAV data, cadastral boundaries are visually detecte...
متن کاملNext-Generation Automatic Terrain Extraction (NGATE) Innovation in the cost-effective derivation of elevation data from imagery
Automatic determination of heights from imagery is a difficult problem. BAE Systems has offered the Automatic Terrain Extraction (ATE) and Interactive Terrain Editing (ITE) modules of SOCET SET ® for many years and these represent a best-in-industry solution, though mistakes can occur in certain circumstances. Now BAE Systems has introduced Next-Generation Automatic Terrain Extraction (NGATE), ...
متن کاملsome properties of fuzzy hilbert spaces and norm of operators
in this thesis, at first we investigate the bounded inverse theorem on fuzzy normed linear spaces and study the set of all compact operators on these spaces. then we introduce the notions of fuzzy boundedness and investigate a new norm operators and the relationship between continuity and boundedness. and, we show that the space of all fuzzy bounded operators is complete. finally, we define...
15 صفحه اولAutomatic Extraction of Buildings and Terrain from Aerial Images *
A system has been developed to acquire, extend and refine 3D geometric site models from aerial imagery. The system hypothesizes potential building roofs in an image, automatically locates supporting geometric evidence in other images, and determines the precise shape and position of the new buildings via multi-image triangulation. Model-to-image registration techniques are applied to align new ...
